The Invisible Advantage Assessment
“This book is not about hospitality. It is a book about people. Premm Anand explores what happens when we design environments that expand human potential, instead of compressing it.”
Martin Lindstrom, New York Times bestselling author, on Premm’s book Becoming Extraordinary
Does this feel familiar?
The scores look good. The standards are met. Your team arrives on time and does the work. And yet something feels flat. Guests are satisfied, but not moved.
You have tried training. You have tried better rosters. Something still slips away.
You are not imagining it. And it is not your team's fault.
Every task can be measured
Replacing one towel takes 13 small movements. A machine can repeat them perfectly.
But no machine can make a guest feel seen.
Training teaches what to do. The conditions decide if it shows.

Why I created this
As a young apprentice at the Taj, I watched a valet named Paul. When he entered a room, you felt that a person had arrived, not a function. I did not want his technique. I wanted his state.
Ten years later, as a butler on a cruise ship, my first guests were HRH Princess Anne and the late Baroness Thatcher.
I learned then what I teach now. Skills do not come first. Identity does.
I built this assessment to help you see your team the way I would if I walked into your property tomorrow.

“You, more than any, have a knack for spotting the small data. It is a skill few have.”
Martin Lindstrom
in a note to Premm
“He helped me see my blind spots… he listens, understands, and guides you in a way that makes you believe in your own potential again.”

This is a reflective tool. It offers a reading of conditions, not a judgement of people.
Your answers are private. They are used only to prepare your reading, and never shared.
Your team may already be capable of more.
The first step is to see clearly where you are.
